If something needs to be done, the A-team is usually on it. Whether it’s mowing, building, cleaning, fixing, setting-up, or watering, the A-Team helps keep Summer’s Best Two Weeks running smoothly and looking good. You will be challenged to grow in your faith and encouraged to faithfully serve when no one is looking. If you are a guy in High School, college or beyond and like working with your hands for part or all of the summer we would encourage you to apply.
Capture it all as it happens. Take pictures and video of kids as they play, laugh, sing, compete, build friendships and make memories. You will run around camp, capturing camper’s experience so they can relive them time and time again. You will need to have experience with digital cameras, video editing software, and have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Need to be at least an upcoming sophomore in college to apply. Internships available.
People need to eat and the SB2W Cooks make it happen. Preparing three meals a day for 300+ people is a big job Cooks positions run from mid-May until the end of August and are flexible. If you are a local resident to Lake Gloria or the Que and are looking for a paid hourly position where you can serve, learn, and grow, we would encourage you to apply.
Health Clinic Volunteer
Each term during the summer we have three wonderful Nurses or Doctors who care for our campers at our on-site clinic appropriately termed “Hugs and Health”. If you are a doctor or nurse and would like to see camp in action and donate a week or two, please contact:
Each term, one or two volunteers staff the office at both camps. Our office staff are vital to much of the behind the scenes administration that helps make camp happen. They answers phones, sort mail, run the camp store, dot “i”s and cross “t”s each term. If you’re interested in volunteering in the office, contact us or give us a call.
